Contribution
Led end-to-end product design for a digital gold investment platform supporting fractional gold investment.
Translated complex financial workflows into intuitive user journeys, real-time pricing and transaction experiences, and scalable dashboard interfaces.
Built and maintained a design system aligned with regulatory and business requirements, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
Partnered closely with cross-functional teams to improve usability, reduce friction across key flows, and enhance transaction efficiency.
Overview
BDAN, formerly Cengold, is a digital asset trading service for real assets such as gold and silver, with an option to exchange them for physical assets.
The project focused on simplifying complex investment flows, including price checking, trading, asset management, and physical exchange.
The design aimed to create a trustworthy financial experience that feels intuitive
and accessible even for beginner users.

Problem
Real-asset trading concepts such as pricing, ownership, and physical exchange were not immediately clear to beginner users
Price checking, trading, portfolio status, and transaction history needed to feel more transparent and easy to understand
Physical asset exchange flows required clearer guidance around conditions, quantity, fees, and process
Existing financial information emphasized functionality, but needed to build stronger user confidence and trust
The core challenge
Making real-asset trading feel clear, trustworthy, and approachable for everyday users.
Goal
Enable users to trade and manage real assets with confidence by simplifying complex investment information into a clear, reliable, and approachable mobile experience.
Design-wise, the goal is to help users understand, trade, manage, and physically exchange their assets with clarity and confidence.

UX Review & Design Considerations
Since formal user research data was not available, I approached the project through a UX review of the service structure and key user flows.
The review focused on how users would understand real-asset trading, check prices,
make transactions, manage their assets, and proceed to physical exchange.
The core challenge
Clarifying unfamiliar real-asset trading concepts for everyday users
Making price, asset status, and transaction information easier to understand
Reducing uncertainty across trading and physical exchange flows
Building a more trustworthy and accessible financial experience
Key direction
The design direction was to make real-asset trading feel simpler, clearer,
and more reliable without overwhelming users with financial complexity.
Design Strategy
Based on the UX review and design assumptions, I defined three design principles to make real-asset trading feel clearer, safer, and more approachable for everyday users.
Design Principles
01
Simplify financial complexity
Reduce the amount of information users need to process at once,
and make key actions such as price checking, trading, and asset management easier to understand.
02
Build trust through transparency
Make asset status, transaction details, fees, and physical exchange conditions clear so users can make decisions with confidence.
03
Connect digital ownership to physical value
Design the physical exchange flow as a predictable journey, helping users understand how their digital assets can be exchanged for real products.
